Curious about our breadth of experience in the construction management of public buildings?
COLUMBUS, OHIO – This project entailed a phased replacement of a solid waste handling facility while the facility maintained full operation, which on average processed a staggering 600 tons per day.
The first phase included the demolition of a shedder building and relocation of the facility’s parking. The second phase was the construction of a new 30,000 square foot transfer station and an 18,200 square foot maintenance building. The third phase included the demolition of the existing transfer and vehicle maintenance buildings. The fourth phase was to provide an underground storm water retention and water quality system for the site, and the final phase was to provide a 40,000 square foot vehicle storage building which now houses up to 75 vehicles. H.R. Gray provided construction management services along with constructability reviews, cost estimating and scheduling.
