No matter how big or small, consulting projects can have a huge impact on an organization’s effectiveness.
MEDINA COUNTY, OHIO – H.R. Gray was retained by the Medina County Sanitary Engineer to view the existing documents the County Sanitary Engineer uses to bid and award construction contracts. Our personnel reviewed all documents used in the bid and award of construction projects, including bid forms, bond forms, contract forms, general conditions, plan notes and instruction to bidders.
H.R. Gray reviewed and improved best practices and the requirements of funding agencies in Ohio, including the Ohio Public Works Commission, the Ohio Department of Transportation, the Ohio Water Development Authority, the Federal Highway Administration, the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, and the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission. These best practices were incorporated in the County Sanitary Engineers general conditions and specifications.
We proposed process changes to the County’s front-end documents to minimize and mitigate risk. H.R. Gray reviewed the County Sanitary Engineer’s technical specifications and provided revisions and modifications to minimize possible conflict.
