Our wastewater construction management services are unparalleled.

MARYSVILLE, OHIO – The City of Marysville’s Department of Public Services selected H.R. Gray to provide professional construction management services on the City’s Jerome Village Regional Wastewater Pump Station located on Wells Road in southeast Union County. Services provided included on site construction inspection, post construction activities, mitigation of impacts to adjacent property owners, and assistance to the City of Marysville on post construction activities.

The Jerome Village Regional Pump Station is a 6.3 MGD pump station, constructed to move wastewater from the Jerome Village Development area, approximately eight miles, to the existing Marysville Wastewater Reclamation facility. H.R. Gray provided on site management services for this project and coordination between two other projects that that provided flow to and from the pump station.

This project is a stand-alone pump station and is remotely operable from the existing water reclamation facility via SCADA. Local controls are also provided to facilitate hands on operation from the Jerome Village Regional Pump Station, and the station has a backup generator capable of full station operation when electric power is down. The pump station building houses all the equipment including switchgear, motor control centers, variable frequency drives, backup power generator, odor control devices and pumps.

As with any project of this magnitude, weather and differing site conditions were constant challenges; yet, in spite of these potential issues, the project was completed on schedule and within budget.
