Sometimes you outgrow your space. Our services make your move smooth.

AKRON, OHIO – This project entailed the relocation of the Akron Water Distribution Division administrative offices and service garage from a century old building on Johnston Street in Akron to a new $8.2 million LEED certified facility located on Triplett Boulevard at the Akron Municipal Service Center.

The relocation was necessary due to the reconstruction of Interstate 76 near Akron’s Central Interchange.  The City of Akron had limited time and budget to design and construct the new facility before the deadline set by the Ohio Department of Transportation.

H.R. Gray was contracted to provide scheduling, constructability and cost estimating services for the project.
