Accuracy when you need it. Flexibility you can depend upon.

COLUMBUS, OHIO – As part of an ongoing service, H.R. Gray has provided third-party independent construction capital cost estimates for a variety of federally-funded COTA projects. Working with the design professional and COTA staff, H.R. Gray has conducted on-site reviews of each construction location and, when required, contacted equipment vendors and subcontractors.

Capitalizing on H.R. Gray’s more than 40 years of expertise in the geographic area served by COTA, the team has been able to assemble highly accurate cost estimates for the owner. Using the software and checking proposed costs against actual costs collected on central Ohio projects. The end-result has been a final opinion of construction costs used to confirm funding allocations, verifying the construction cost as design is being completed, and to identify any possible scope creep items, and their costs, caused by modifications during the completion of the construction documents. H.R. Gray provided the estimated values of costs separated into the 16 divisions of construction, as defined by the Construction Specifications Institute’s (CSI) Master Format. Knowledge of the local material suppliers and market, as well as expertise in cost estimating, scheduling and project management, has ensured project success at several COTA locations.
